Last week's to-do list summarized:

Sat	Prep Candice's bridal shower order
Sun	Shop downtown for Livie's birthday present
Mon	Make Livie's birthday present (lavender shea butter soap)
Tues	Organize and coordinate marketing team's event at Sur La Table
Wed	Flight to LA 11:13AM, pre-production meeting, dinner with client at Asia de Cuba, Sky Bar
Thur	Shoot day 1, dinner with cast and crew at Chaya Beverly Hills
Fri	Shoot day 2, rush off to see Livie, begin a weekend of indulgence

I got a suite at the W, but it made no difference cause I was working 15 hr days during the shoot. Long hours sure, but I'd gladly do it again just to wear multiple hats. I learned to use a stapler gun, drove a huge-ass Ford Expedition (if you know me, you know I don't drive at all), be prop master's assistant, and wear booties on the green "screen." Somewhere along a 30-drink Starbucks run, I met (and spoke to!!!) Aimee Mann. The bf was psyched, and so were a couple of cool producer guys, but most people just went, "who's Aimee Mann?"

Livie stayed at the hotel to be closer to her workplace. It was hardly a slumber party. By the time I got home every night, she'd be snuggled up on the couch bed zzzing away.
